Queer ear takes the listener on a thought-provoking and entertaining journey. The program aims to provide the ultimate exploration of the joys and difficulties of being LGBTQ+ in the Central West. At a time when queer culture has never been so mainstream the options and freedoms on offer to LGBTQ+ people living in the Central West are greater than ever before. But is same-sex marriage, improved media visibility and all it’s cracked up to be? At what cost does this acceptance come? Queer ear intends to serve the social, cultural and educational interests of the community. This program is committed to providing a voice for the diverse LGBTI communities in the Central West, enabling freedom of expression, the breaking down of isolation and the celebration of LGBTQI+ culture, achievements and pride.
