Raffle Terms and Conditions

2MCE Community Radio – Business Raffle Terms and Conditions (Draw Lottery) 

By entering the “2MCE Community Radio – Business Raffle 2025” (Raffle), you accept the following Terms and Conditions. 

  1. Promoter 
    1. The promoter of the Raffle is Charles Sturt University (ABN: 83 878 708 551) through 2MCE Community Radio Panorama Avenue, Bathurst, New South Wales 2795 (Charles Sturt) (Charles Sturt). 
    2. Charles Sturt is a registered under the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profit Commission Act 2021 (Cth) and is the benefiting organisation for the purpose of this Raffle. 
  1. Raffle Period 
    1. The Raffle will commence on 3 March 2025 at 12.01am AEST and close on 1 May 2025  at 11.59pm AEST (Raffle Period). Any Raffle ticket purchased outside the Raffle Period will be invalid.   
  1. Eligibility 
    1. Subject to paragraph 3b, the Raffle is open to all residents of NSW who are at least 18 years old at the time of purchasing a Raffle ticket. 
    2. Current employees of Charles Sturt and their immediate family members are ineligible to participate in the Raffle.  
  1. Raffle Tickets 
    1. Each Raffle ticket must be purchased at the specified ticket price, being: 
      1. $100 for each Raffle ticket; 
      2. $285 for three (3) Raffle tickets; or 
      3. $450 for five (5) Raffle tickets. 
    2. All valid Raffle tickets will be entered into the draw, and each ticket has an equal chance of winning. 
    3. There are a total of 100 tickets available in the Raffle. There is no limit on the number of Raffle tickets which may be purchased by an individual during the Raffle Period.  
  1. Draw Details 
    1. The Raffle will be drawn live on Friday 2 May 2025 after the 4pm news during 2MCE’s Community Drive program by the relevant 2MCE announcer. 
    2. Winners will be announced publicly and subsequently notified through their contact details provided on the relevant Raffle ticket as soon as practicable following the draw. 
  1. Prizes
     
    1. The three (3) prizes in order of being drawn are: 
      1. 1st Prize = SIX MONTHS on air advertising sponsorship package valued at $6,022, 
      2. 2nd Prize = THREE MONTHS on air advertising sponsorship package valued at $2,870, and 
      3. 3rd Prize = ONE MONTH on air advertising sponsorship package valued at $866
  1. Prize conditions
     
    1. No part of any of the Prizes is transferable or redeemable for cash. 
    2. If any Prize is unclaimed within one (1) month of the original draw, reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner.  If unsuccessful, a redraw may occur at 2MCE’s premises in relation to that Prize. 
    3. Any decision by Charles Sturt regarding the winners drawn is final and binding.  
  1. Release and Liability
     
    1. To the full extent permitted by law, Charles Sturt excludes all liability arising in connection with this Raffle, any purchase of a Raffle ticket, or any of the Prizes.  
    2. Charles Sturt is not responsible for any late, lost, incorrectly purchased, delayed, incomplete or corrupted Raffle ticket whether due to error or otherwise. Charles Sturt is under no obligation to accept any Raffle ticket which is not submitted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. 
    3. Charles Sturt reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to amend these Terms and Conditions in compliance with NSW Gaming Laws and NSW Fundraising Law, in which case it will post a notice on www.2mce.org/raffle. 
    4. Without prejudice to any other rights of a party, each participant in the Raffle indemnifies Charles Sturt against any loss, claim or damage arising from their participation or entry in the Raffle or winning a Prize.  
  1. Privacy
     
    1. Charles Sturt may collect, store and use personal information collected from participants in the Raffle in order to conduct the Raffle and related purposes, including marketing and promotional purposes. 
    2. The winning participants consent to the publication of their name and details, and agrees to participate in future Charles Sturt marketing, if required by Charles Sturt, which may include being interviewed and photographed. 
    3. Personal information is managed by Charles Sturt in accordance with the Charles Sturt Privacy Management Plan. Any participant can contact the Charles Sturt Ombudsman about personal information held by Charles Sturt about them.
