In this interview, Maree Curtis chats with Bev Cooney about her interest in and love of volunteering. Bev visits Peru on an annual basis to provide medical support for the disadvantaged. As well as this, Bev volunteers at the Neighborhood Centre and in 2019, initiated the Dementia Cafe for carers and their partners – the cafe is still running today.
