This week, we headed to the late 18th Century where we met Women’s Rights Activist and Abolitionist Sojourner Truth. Most famous for her ‘Ain’t I a Woman?’ speech, Sojo fought for her way up in the world and even became the first-ever black woman to win a court case against a white man.
