The Future of Information Organisations

This month’s edition of SICS Radio looks to the future, and wonders how libraries and archives in Australia will change. The show features four researchers from the School of Information and Communication Studies – Dr Lizzy Tait, Dr Kay Oddone, Dr Jane Garner, and Dr Kasey Garrison. They discuss the challenges and opportunities associated with new technologies, and consider whether the physical library will soon be a thing of the past. They also consider the ever increasing importance of information literacy, and the ways in which libraries and librarians’ can help to develop an information literate Australia.
