This week, we head back to Tudor England where we meet the first Queen of England in her own right, Mary I. Our girl Mae paved the way for future queens to come and used vigorous efforts to restore Roman Catholicism to England after her dad Henry VIII’s Protestant Reformation. She was tough and ruthless and wasn’t called Bloody Mary for nothing.
