In this episode of Cool Climate Living, Susan Lacey talks all things charity shops. You know, if you’re raising a family, it’s really easy to let the expense of clothing everyone get on top of you. So the availability of budget clothes through the op shops can be a godsend. And over the years, the original focus of providing good quality second hand goods has morphed into finding that quirky vintage gear. Our op shops depend on us to donate goods to them, to volunteer to work in the shops, and to buy useful goods so that they can direct funds to many worthy causes. In this episode, we’ll hear from a couple of charities with shops in our region and also a very keen op shopper.
