The featured album was BLAS by BLAS www.daviddoocey.com This CS has stayed under my rada for a few years, sitting neglected in a stack of CDs waiting for another opportunity to make its way back onto the program. I think it’s been worth the wait. The band is musically straong, guided by American/Irish fidder David Doocery, and ths album offers reliably solid interpretations of some familiar materia, as well as several more recent compositions.
