The featured album was BONFROST by THE NORDIC FIDDLERS BLOC www.thenordicfiddlersbloc.com This is the third album in 12 years from string players Anders Hall (Sweden), Olav Luksengard Mjelva (Norway) and Kevin Henderson (Shetland), with some solo tracks, some combining elements from their individual traditions, and some with more recent material. These musicians have an excellent chemistry across all their styles and deliver fire, passion and pathos throughout the album.
