The featured album was NO IDLE JEST by ALISTAIR BROWN (Prospect Records). Scottish born, long time resident in Canada and, more recently, Cornwall, Alistair Brown has performed, recorded, toured and broadcast folk music for decades. This album includes mostly songs composed in the 20th century, with some older material and a couple of tune sets highlighting his melodeon and concertina.
