The featured album was AN DEN DEY MADE TAE by ROSS & RYAN COUPER (Couper Records). The COVID global pandemic provided the fiddler and guitarist brothers from Shetland the time to finally produce an instrumental album, after years of talking about recording together. Most sets are played in an identifiably Shetland style, even those tunes not originating in Shetland, and there is also good proportion of excellent original material. All tracks have a confident “live” energy, making this a very enjoyable album.
