The featured album was OUT WEST by MICK DOHERTY AND ROBERT ZIELINSKI (National Library of Australia). Mick Doherty came from a long line of Donegal travelling fiddle players and moved to Perth in his later years. Rob Zielinski was born near Perth and spent 14 years in the west of Ireland, immersing himself in traditional fiddle styles, before returning to Western Australia and playing with Mick for many years until Mick’s passing at 88 years.
