The featured album was ROOTED by MARTIN SIMPSON (Topic). This is the 21st solo release from a prolific multi-instrumentalist singer songwriter whose albums consistently achieve a very high standard. He is, apparently, the most nominated musician in the history of the BBC Folk Awards, with good reason. Great mix of new and older songs, excellent musicianship and production make this yet another winner for one of the finest English folk performers.
