COME ALL YE – 23 February 2025

The featured album was THE CRANKIE ISLAND SONG PROJECT by CATHY JORDAN (self published).  Cathy Jordan   Crankie Island Song Project   The long time singer with Irish group Dervish has collaborated with artist Peter Crann to bring to life 32 songs, one for each county in Ireland, using a Crankie Box, a vintage illuminated story-telling device. An illustrated scroll is wound on two spools and cranked by hand while a song is sung. The songs are impressive on their own, but I recommend visiting her website for the full effect.
