The featured album was SONGS DOC DIDN’T SING by DOC & MERLE WATSON (Fli Records). This is a reissue of instrumental tracks originally released on the Flying Fish label in the 1980s. A master guitar picker from the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina, Doc Watson’s hugely influential style was a game changer. Also a fine guitarist, Merle Watson performed with his father for fifteen years.
