Changing the World with CSU Researchers is produced by the Researcher Development team in the Office of Research Services at Charles Sturt University, and showcases the work of PhD students at the university. This month’s show features the Diane Cass. In 2019 Diane and her sons were diagnosed with Mitochondrial Disease – a very serious genetic condition. In this show Diane explains how this experience has been a catalyst for her PhD research, which is investigating the experiences of families where two or more family members are diagnosed with a life limiting or chronic illness.
