The featured album was LIBERTY JUNCTION by MARTIN DOHERTY AND LEIGH BIRKETT (self published). Doherty, Irish born but a long-time NSW Central West resident, composed or co-composed all the songs with his wife, Lyn. Multi-instrumentalist Birkett, originally from Staffordshire but now living in the NSW Blue Mountains, provides an eclectic but sympathetic approach to accompanying Doherty’s ballads.
