The featured album was BALLADS by HEDY WEST (Topic) Born in 1938 in the mountains of north Georgia, West brought her working class Appalachian experience to her singing, acting and recordings, starting with the Greenwich Village folk scene in 1959. This was the third recording West made while living in England during the 1960s.
