The featured album was HOP HIGH by CROOKED STILL (Footprint Records). www.crookedstill.com This was the 2004 debut album from a “progressive bluegrass” band whose material also spans traditional country, old time and more general Americana. Aoife O’Donovan’s vocals are supported by the unusual but successful combination of banjo, cello and double bass on most tracks, with occasional assistance from fiddle and percussion.
