The featured album was LANDMARKS ON THE JOURNEY by MARGARET & BOB FAGAN www.thefagans.com.au Two very well known performers on the Australian folk scene, and the parents of two fine musicians in James and Kate, who also contribute to the album. This was a 2019 release, the year which marked 50 years of their “musical journey together”. The ‘senior’ Fagans have compiled a solid collection of songs, reflecting their shared concern for the environment, political activism, Irish heritage and their home, Australia. This is a well produced work, with plenty of varied material well worth close attention.
