The featured album was SIAN by SIAN www.sian-music.com Self-titled debut release from a trio of accomplished Scottish Gaelic singers, assisted by several other well-known musicians. Most of the songs are by Scottish female composers and all the tracks are attractively performed and arranged. Unfortunately, sleevenotes are nonexistent and the website only offers the Gaelic lyrics without translation or English introduction, which may detract slightly from the overall package for non-Gaelic speakers.
