The Australian economy is set to lose $325 million in revenue as new licensing regulations force festivals to provide unrealistic safety management plans.

The ruling comes as tens of thousands of people gather to protest the tightening of laws surrounding New South Wales’ live music venues.

Festival organisers are worried that the regulations will kill the live music culture.
